A rider was hurt in a motorcycle versus sedan accident on Friday.

A Roseburg Police report said at about 1:30 p.m. the motorist was traveling north on Northeast Stephens Street when she turned onto Northeast Chestnut. The motorcyclist was headed south on Stephens and had a green light to continue through the intersection. The motorist entered the intersection and the motorcyclist was unable to stop on time. He crashed into the side of the sedan and flew over the handle bars.

The rider was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center due to his injuries. He was treated and released according to a hospital spokesperson.  The motorist was cited for making a dangerous left turn. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
