DFPA DEALS WITH ESCAPED DEBRIS BURN FRIDAY

Crews from the Douglas Forest Protective Association and other agencies dealt with a small escaped debris burn on Friday afternoon.

A DFPA release said firefighters responded just after 12:45 p.m. to the 4000 block of Reston Road near Tenmile. The total fire size was 1.5 acres of grass and surrounding vegetation. The fire was quickly extinguished by the initial attack crews and was 100 percent contained.

Crews from the Winston-Dillard Fire District, Camas Valley Volunteer Fire Department and the Lookingglass Fire District also responded to the fire.
