Sutherlin Police jailed a man Thursday, and charged him for an alleged assault that took place on March 5th.

The SPD report said 45-year old Christopher Stutte is being held for felony counts of strangulation and for menacing and interfering. Bail for Stutte was set at $112,500.

SPD has not released any additional information regarding the case.
