MAN JAILED AFTER ALLEGED MENACING INCIDENT

Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a man following an alleged menacing incident near Canyonville.

The DCSO report said Wednesday just after 10:00 a.m. deputies responded to the 400 block of Jordan Creek Road in regards to a possible disturbance involving a firearm. During an investigation, 40-year old Casey Bland was taken into custody after a deputy learned that the suspect had allegedly pointed a loaded pistol at a victim’s head.

Bland was charged with menacing, pointing a firearm at another, and for unlawful use of a weapon. Bland was released on Thursday.
