A Roseburg man was hurt after being struck by a vehicle on Saturday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 7:30 p.m. the pedestrian allegedly ran across the road in the 2600 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard, in front of an SUV. The driver said he swerved to avoid the pedestrian, but the man hit the right front quarter panel of his vehicle.

The pedestrian was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center with a broken arm and ribs and possibly additional injuries. He is listed in fair condition, according to a hospital spokesman.
