A Roseburg man was detained following a reported disturbance early Sunday.

A Roseburg Police report said just before 12:30 a.m. officers responded to a fight in the parking lot of a business in the 900 block of Southeast Stephens. Officers found one of the participants leaving the scene as a passenger in a sedan. The report said the driver was cooperative but the passenger was allegedly verbally combative, confrontational and refused to follow commands until multiple officers arrived. The suspect was ordered from the sedan by the threat of taser. The investigation revealed the 36-year old had been in a physical fight in that parking lot.

The man was detained and charged with 2nd degree disorderly conduct. He was released from custody when a sober driver arrived.
