A Glide man was hospitalized after a 2-vehicle wreck in Roseburg on Wednesday.
A Roseburg Police report said just after 1:30 p.m. a sedan was traveling westbound on Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard and was making a left turn onto Northeast Stephens on a green light when a van was traveling northbound on Stephens allegedly went through the intersection on a red light, striking the first vehicle on the driver side door.
The impact caused the sedan to spin around. That driver had to be extricated from the vehicle. He was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center with left rib pain. He was later released according to a hospital spokesperson. The first driver was not hurt.
The driver who caused the accident was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
