Thursday is last day to register for the Spring into Gardening class offered by the Douglas County Master Gardeners on Saturday March 12th.

Those attending can choose 4 classes on topics like:

*managing vertebrate pests

*growing berry crops

*gardening soils

*growing and propagating succulents

*principles of permaculture

*growing peppers and tomatoes

*managing home orchards

*growing and managing olive trees

Other topics will be available as well. The workshop runs from 9:30 a.m.to 5:15 p.m. at Phoenix School of Roseburg on Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard, Doors will open at 9:00 a.m.
