Covering coastal Douglas County:

A Freeze Warning is in effect for coastal areas including Reedsport and surrounding areas until 9:00 a.m. Thursday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said sub-freezing temperatures as low as 22 degrees are possible. The Warning area also includes portions of Coos and Curry counties. Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

A Freeze Watch is in place for the same areas through Friday morning.
