COVID-19 WEEKLY REPORT SHOWS DECLINES IN WEEKLY CASES, HOSPITALIZATIONS AND DEATHS

OHA reported 9,332 new cases of COVID-19 during the week of February 14th through February 20th – a 45 percent decline from the previous week and an 84 percent drop from the peak week of January 17th through January 23rd.

There were 649 COVID-19 related hospitalizations, a 20 percent decrease from the previous week. COVID-19-related deaths declined from 129 to 111.

Reported COVID-19 tests dropped 21 percent. There were 130,116 tests administered. Test positivity dropped to 9.6 percent down from 13.7 percent the previous week.

The COVID-19 Weekly Outbreak Report shows 314 total active outbreaks in care facilities, senior living communities and congregate living settings with 3 or more confirmed COVID-19 cases and 1 or more COVID-19 related deaths.
