COVID-19 has claimed 59 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 6,578, as of Thursday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 856 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 691,337.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 is 528, which is 51 fewer than on Wednesday. There are 105 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 5 fewer than on Wednesday.
The new cases include:
*131 in Multnomah County
*116 in Washington County
*80 in Clackamas County
*63 in Marion County
