A Roseburg woman was jailed for an alleged DUII incident by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office early Tuesday.

A DCSO report said at about 1:10 a.m. a deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation in the 200 block of Pioneer Way in Winchester.

The deputy stopped the vehicle and contacted the 61-year old who showed signs of impairment and was un-cooperative. The deputy ended up struggling with the suspect after she tried to leave the scene several times.

The suspect was transported to Corrections where she consented to field sobriety tests which she performed poorly. The report said the suspect then decided she did not want to be cooperative and initially refused a blood test.

The suspect was charged with DUII, reckless driving, resisting arrest and for driving while suspended. Bail was set at $28,750.
