COVID-19 CLAIMS 35 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 6,519, AS OF WEDNESDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 35 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 6,519, as of Wednesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,160 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 690,481.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 579, which is 18 fewer than on Tuesday. There are 110 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 more than on Tuesday.

The new cases include:

*166 in Multnomah County

*120 in Washington County

*118 in Jackson County

*87 in Lane County
