A 9-year old Roseburg girl who went missing Monday night was located about six hours later.

Lieutenant Brad O’Dell of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday Jones left her residence in the 200 block of Tucson Court in the Melrose area at about 9:00 p.m. She was on foot and had little clothing on at the time of her disappearance. She was described as being 5 foot tall, weighing 110 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

O’Dell said shortly before 3:00 a.m. Tuesday, searchers found Sunday hiding at a nearby home which is under construction. O’Dell thanked the community for its assistance.
