COVID-19 CLAIMS 29 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 6,485, AS OF TUESDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 29 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 6,485, as of Tuesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 3,400 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 689,325. That includes cases from Friday through Monday.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 in Oregon is 597, which is 40 fewer than on Monday. There are 109 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 6 fewer than on Monday.

The new cases include:

*513 in Multnomah County

*420 in Washington County

*360 in Lane County

*287 in Clackamas County
