A transient was jailed for allegedly trespassing and for disorderly conduct by Myrtle Creek Police on Sunday.

A MCPD report said at 8:40 p.m. an officer was sent to the 700 block of Northeast Division Street. The 30-year old had been allegedly causing issues with several of the residents in that area. The suspect had been advised of disorderly conduct earlier in the evening.

The report said the transient had allegedly gone onto a subject’s property and refused to leave even after being asked several times by the occupants of the home. The suspect reportedly became agitated with the resident for asking him to leave.

The transient was held for 2nd degree counts disorderly conduct and criminal trespass. Bail was set at $3,750.
