As the county’s COVID rates continue to decrease, CHI Mercy Medical Center has updated its visiting hours and visitor guidelines effective Monday.

Masks are required at all Mercy facilities for patients, staff and visitors. Visiting hours are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. All employees, patients and visitors must answer screening questions prior to entering any facility.

*Outpatients are allowed 1 visitor per day per patient

*Inpatients hospital-wide are allowed 2 visitors at a time with some exceptions

*Family BirthPlace patients are allowed 2 visitors at a time. Children under age 12 are not permitted in the unit at this time.

*Emergency Department patients can have 1 visitor at a time in the patient exam room due to spacing requirements

*Pediatric patients may have 2 guardians whether they are in the ED or Pediatric unit
