Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged theft incident on Thursday.

The RPD report said at about 4:40 p.m. 45-year old Gabriel Baker allegedly trespassed at a business in the 900 block of Northwest Highland Drive. Baker reportedly stole mail from a drop box at that location. The mail was recovered. Baker was charged with mail theft, 2nd degree counts of theft and criminal trespass, and for a parole violation.

Baker was held without bail.
