A Roseburg man was cited following a fire incident on Thursday.

The Roseburg Police report said at 7:30 p.m. the 41-year old allegedly started a warming fire with a pile of cardboard which set the dumpster next to him on fire. The incident took place in the 1300 block of Northeast Stephens.

The Roseburg Fire Department responded to extinguish the fire. The large dumpster was destroyed. The suspect was cited for reckless burning and was released at the scene.
