COVID-19 CLAIMS 20 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL 6,393, AS OF TUESDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 20 more lives, raising the state’s death to 6,393, as of Tuesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,613 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the case total to 680,852.

OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 805, which is 60 fewer than on Monday. There are 147 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 5 fewer than on Monday.

The new cases include:

*189 in Multnomah County

*166 in Lane County

*148 in Marion County

*146 in Jackson County
