Monday night the Roseburg City Council adopted a resolution regarding min-retail businesses.
That adoption followed a public hearing on the issue. Notes from staff said the change would mean that these businesses, mainly food trucks, could more easily operate in what is called the Public Reserve Zone. That includes around school, government buildings, churches and other locations.
Councilors approved a resolution making changes to the vehicle camping program.
The council received the annual comprehensive financial report from Auditor Jeff Cooley. Finance Director Ron Harker discussed the quarterly report for the last quarter of 2021. Councilors were provided with the 2022-2023 budget calendar.
The council delayed the proposed Charter amendment vote until the May election in 2023. A Charter revision committee will be appointed later this year.
