A Roseburg man was arrested for an alleged trespass incident on Saturday.

A Roseburg Police report said officers responded to a reported trespass in the 300 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard at 2:00 a.m. The suspect had locked himself in a bathroom and refused to come out when told to by employees and officers A key from the business was used to open the door.

The suspect allegedly fought with officers and tried to grab a knife prior to being detained. The man allegedly damaged several items inside the business’s bathroom as well.

The suspect was charged with second-degree counts of criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief, along with resisting arrest.
