The Roseburg City Council has a lengthy agenda for its Monday night meeting.
Councilors will receive the annual comprehensive financial report from Auditor Jeff Cooley. A look at finances for the last quarter of 2021 and the budget calendar for the next fiscal year will be looked at as well.
The council will hold a public hearing regarding an ordinance that would amend certain sections of Roseburg Municipal Code to allow mini-retail businesses. Notes from staff indicate this means these businesses, mainly food trucks, could more easily operate around government buildings, schools, churches and other locations in the Public Reserve Zone.
Councilors will vote on amending requirements within the vehicle camping program.
A number of ordinances will be considered as well.
While the formal council meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. a work study session regarding potential updates to the City Charter will get started at 6:00 p.m.
The meeting will be held via Zoom. It can be viewed on the city’s Facebook page and watched later at www.cityofroseburg.org.
