WOMAN JAILED FOR ALLEGED HARASSMENT

A woman was jailed by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office for an alleged harassment incident on Thursday.

A DCSO report said at 6:20 p.m. a disturbance between the suspect and a victim was reported in the 100 block of Loop Lane near Myrtle Creek. Deputies arrived and the 23-year old suspect was still pushing the victim. The suspect was intoxicated and resisted arrest, kicking a deputy in the leg while being taken into custody.

Charges included harassment, resisting arrest, and second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $8,750. She was released on Friday.
