A Roseburg man was jailed for an alleged menacing incident early Friday.

A Roseburg Police report said at about 1:10 a.m. officers responded to a business in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard after an employee said a couple were fighting in the lobby. An investigation concluded that a 52-year old man grabbed the victim by the arms and threatened to kill her.

The suspect was charged with menacing and for harassment. Bail was set at $8,750.
