SHERIFF’S OFFICE JAILS MAN FOR WARRANT, VIOLATION AMOUNT

A deputy with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a man for a felony warrant and a violation amount of methamphetamine and heroin on Tuesday.

The DCSO report said at 11:50 p.m. an officer stopped a sedan for improper display of plates near the corner of Saddlebutte Lane and Recreation Lane, just north of Roseburg. Dispatch said the suspect had the warrant so the 51-year old was taken into custody.

Approximately 1.5 grams of the drugs mixed together were allegedly located when he was booked into the jail. The man was held on $5,000 bail.
