Roseburg Police cited a man for a weapon violation early Friday.

An RPD report said at 3:00 a.m. the 43-year old was contacted in the 1500 block of Northeast Stephens. The report said the suspect knowingly possessed a firearm that he is not allowed to possess. The firearm was recovered and the man was cited and released for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
