The Rough Patch Complex has grown by over 3,200 acres and is listed at 44,434 acres.

The latest update from the Northern Rockies Incident Management Team said a front passed through bringing cooler temperatures and higher relative humidity. The improved conditions allowed crews to assess areas along fire lines that were socked in with smoke. Improved visibility gave helicopters an opportunity to fly in support of ground operations.

The Chaos Fire is at 24,462 acres while the Little Bend Fire is at 8,569 acres. Hotshot crews assessed the fire that crossed the 2460 Road north of the Chaos Fire and determined that the terrain was too steep and rugged for a direct attack. Air operations are keeping the fire from spreading as crews assess options.

The Jack Fire remains at 23,990 acres and the Buckhead Fire has grown to 6,535 acres. The Near Minky Fire is still at 4,867 acres.

Containment levels are unchanged with the Rough Patch Complex at 35 percent and the Jack Fire at 55 percent.
