A Roseburg woman was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday.

A Roseburg Police report said at about 4:00 p.m. a 55-year old woman was traveling north on the inside lane of Northeast Stephens as she slowed for traffic in front of her. The second driver, a 31-year old woman, was headed north directly behind the first vehicle and didn’t see her slowing until it was too late.

The front of the second vehicle collided with the back of the first vehicle. Both vehicles sustained significant damage. The second driver was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for observation. She was listed in fair condition at last check, according to a hospital spokesperson.
