COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,763, as of Saturday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 227 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 207,998. The new cases include:

*35 in Multnomah County

*28 in Marion County

*24 in Clackamas County

*20 in Linn County

*14 in Jackson County

*13 in Lane County

*12 in Douglas County

*11 in Washington County

*8 in Deschutes County

*6 each in Columbia and Lincoln counties

*4 each in Baker, Benton, Coos, Morrow, Polk, Umatilla and Yamhill counties

*3 each in Hood River and Josephine counties

*2 each in Clatsop, Curry, Jefferson and Tillamook counties

*1 each in Crook, Klamath, Lake, Malheur, Union, Wallowa and Wasco counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 72 to 86. 1 each lived in Harney and Marion counties.

OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 145, which is 6 less than Friday. There are 35 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 3 more than on Friday.

OHA reported that 12,748 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 6,037 doses were administered on Friday. 6,711 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Friday.
