Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant and a drug charge on Friday morning.

The RPD report said at 1:00 a.m. an officer stopped a sedan near the corner of Northeast Carolyn Court and Northeast Hewitt Avenue because the driver was operating it without headlights. 44-year old Michael Batson had a warrant for his arrest.

The suspect’s parole officer requested a consent search and heroin was allegedly located. Batson was charged with unlawful possession of heroin, for the warrant and for a probation violation. Bail was set at $100,000.
