COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, raising the state’s death toll to 2,760, as of Thursday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 232 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, raising the state’s toll to 207,558. The new cases include:

*29 in Multnomah County

*25 in Marion County

*19 in Washington County

*18 in Linn County

*16 in Jackson County

*15 in Josephine County

*14 in Deschutes County

*12 each in Clackamas, Lane and Umatilla counties

*10 in Douglas County

*7 each in Curry and Polk counties

*6 in Klamath County

*5 in Columbia County

*4 in Yamhill County

*3 each in Clatsop, Jefferson and Lincoln counties

*2 each in Benton and Coos counties

*1 each in Baker, Crook, Harney, Hood River, Morrow, Tillamook and Wasco counties

The new death is a 77-year old man from Lane County.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 162, which is 7 more than on Wednesday. There are 32 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 2 fewer than on Wednesday.

OHA reported that 11,168 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 4,978 doses were administered on Wednesday. 6,190 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Wednesday.
