MAN CITED FOLLOWING ALLEGED DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENT

A Roseburg man was cited following an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at just after 8:30 p.m. the 39-year old was called in as a subject who possibly fired a round from his gun near the walking bridge under Interstate Five by West Esperanza Court.  The man was contacted and taken into custody.

The report said the suspect was found to be in possession of a concealed firearm which he had a permit for. Upon further investigation, the firearm had a spent casing inside. The man eventually admitted to shooting the gun off, according to the report.

The man was cited for second degree disorderly conduct and for discharge of firearms. The firearm was seized.
