A vehicle wrecked after its driver fell asleep on Monday.

A report from Oregon State Police said just after 7:30 p.m. the vehicle was southbound on Interstate Five near the Elkton and Curtin exit. The sedan traveled off the roadway, hitting an Oregon Department of Transportation sign. It then rolled and ended up upside down in the ditch. The driver received minor injuries and declined medical treatment.

The report said the driver was determined to not be under the influence. The Washington state man was cited for not having an operator license and for failure to drive within a lane.
