Sunday’s heat in the Umpqua Valley tied the record high temperature for the date.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service told News Radio 1240 KQEN that it got to 93 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. That equaled the June 20th high set in 1945 and 2008.

Monday’s high is forecast to be 94 degrees. That would also tie the record high for the date, set in 1958.
