Roseburg Police contacted a fugitive in a business parking lot on Friday.

An RPD report said at 9:00 a.m. the 29-year old was reported to be passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle in the 2500 block of Northeast Stephens, and had a rifle in his lap.

The report said the man was found to be sleeping with the Airsoft AR-15 style weapon shoved between the front seats. He also allegedly had a machete tucked in the driver door map pocket area. The man did not have a license in Oregon or Washington and had a warrant out of Washington but the report said that state did not want to extradite him

The man was released on the scene.
