COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, raising the state’s death toll to 2,754.as of Sunday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 200 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 206,774. The new cases include:
*42 in Multnomah County
*21 each in Marion and Washington counties
*19 each in Clackamas and Lane counties
*13 in Deschutes County
*10 in Josephine County
*9 in Linn County
*6 each in Douglas and Jackson counties
*5 each in Benton, Clatsop and Columbia counties
*4 in Polk County
*3 each in Curry, Union and Yamhill counties
*2 in Harney County
*1 each in Baker, Crook, and Jefferson counties
The new death was a 74-year old woman in Lane County.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 149, which is 5 more than on Saturday. There are 35 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds which is 4 more than on Saturday.
OHA reported that 10,0006 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 5,675 doses were administered on Saturday. 4,331 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Saturday.
