COVID-19 has claimed 5 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2.750, as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 315 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 bringing the state total to 206,299. The new cases include:

*52 in Multnomah County

*33 in Clackamas County

*28 in Umatilla County

*26 in Washington County

*25 in Marion County

*19 in Jackson and Linn counties

*17 each in Douglas and Lane counties

*12 each in Deschutes and Polk counties

*8 in Josephine County

*7 in Yamhill County

*6 in Klamath County

*5 in Columbia and Curry counties

*4 each in Crook and Malheur counties

*2 each in Baker, Benton, Clatsop, Coos, Jefferson, and Lincoln counties

*1 each in Hood River, Sherman and Wasco counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 45 to 89. 1 each lived in Jefferson, Deschutes, Clatsop, Marion and Washington counties.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 150, which is 1 fewer than on Thursday. There are 37 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is unchanged from Thursday.

OHA reported 13,063 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 6,124 doses were administered on Thursday. 6,934 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Thursday.
