A Roseburg man was charged with strangulation and fourth-degree assault by Oregon State Police on Wednesday.

An OSP report said at 10:00 p.m. a trooper responded to a possible dispute on Highway 38 near Scottsburg. After an investigation, 23-year old Justin Brand was arrested and taken to jail. No further details were released by OSP.

Bail was set at $100,000.
