COVID-19 has claimed 7 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,744, as of Wednesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 247 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 205,698. The new cases include:

*31 in Marion County

*29 in Multnomah County

*27 in Jackson County

*20 in Clackamas County

*18 in Lane County

*16 in Josephine County

*15 in Deschutes County

*13 in Umatilla County

*12 in Douglas County

*10 in Linn County

*8 in Washington County

*7 in Benton County

*5 each in Baker and Polk counties

*4 in Lincoln County

*3 each in Columbia, Coos, Crook, Jefferson, Klamath and Yamhill counties

*2 each in Clatsop and Harney counties

*1 each in Curry, Gilliam, Malheur, Morrow and Union counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 33 to 93. 3 lived in Lane County. 1 each lived in Douglas, Linn, Multnomah and Umatilla counties. The Douglas County death was a 33-year old woman who tested positive on June 11th and died that day at Salem Hospital.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 162, which is 10 less than on Tuesday. There are 37 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 9 fewer than on Tuesday.

OHA reported that 17,452 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 10,845 doses were administered on Tuesday. 6,607 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Tuesday.
