WOMAN JAILED AFTER ALLEGEDLY BRANDISHING WEAPON

A woman was jailed after allegedly brandishing a weapon on Monday.

A Roseburg Police report said just after 7:00 p.m. the 39-year old got in an argument with a victim at the dog park on Southeast Templin and threatened to cut her throat. The suspect allegedly came within two feet of the victim, while holding the knife. The report said another witness in the park indicated they saw the woman with the knife out threatening to cut other people’s throats.

The suspect was contacted later in the evening and taken into custody. She was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and menacing. Bail was set at $56,250.
