Roseburg Police cited a man for alleged criminal mischief Monday night.

An RPD report said the 42-year old locked the keys in the victim’s vehicle on Sunday. The victim had arranged for AAA to unlock the vehicle on Tuesday. The report said the suspect did not have permission to be in the vehicle but hired a stranger to try to unlock the vehicle for $100. The vehicle was scratched in the process.

The man was cited for second-degree criminal mischief and then was released.
