12 more people have received new positive test results for COVID-19 in Douglas County and there is 1 new presumptive case, as of Tuesday.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 3,816. Of those, 3,635 are people that have received positive test results, and 181 are presumptive. There have been 80 deaths. 12 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 5 locally and 7 outside the area. 176 people are in isolation. 560 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 736 people that are either in isolation or quarantine.
The update said that 53.1 percent of eligible residents, age 16 and over have been vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine. That means a total of 50,351 residents have received at least their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
