RPS OFFERING FREE MEALS OVER SUMMER BREAK

Roseburg Public Schools is offering free meals to children over summer break at Lunchbox Express sites and school cafeterias.

A release said free grab and go meals will include breakfast and lunch items and are available for children 18 years of age and younger.

Meals are being served Mondays through Fridays through August 13th, except on July 5th at these locations:

*11:00 a.m. to 11:15 am at Saddle Butte Mobile Manor on Saddle Butte Lane

*11:25 a.m. to 11:40 am. at Creekside Family Church on Newton Creek Road

*12:00 p.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Eastwood Park on Southeast Douglas Avenue

*12:25 p.m. to 12:40 p.m. at Thompson Park on Southeast Thompson Avenue

*12:50 p.m. to 1:05 p.m. at Stewart Park on West Stewart Park Drive.

Meals will also be served this week through Friday at the Roseburg High cafeteria with breakfast served from 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. and lunch available from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Meals will be served at a number of locations starting on July 6th.

The summer food program is a part of the USDA Food and Nutrition Services and is administered by the Oregon Department of Education Child Nutrition Programs. Call 440-4023 for more information.
