Roseburg Police jailed a man on a felony charge of strangulation on Friday.

An RPD report said at about 11:30 p.m. an officer responded to the report of a disturbance at the Stewart Park Pavilion. An investigation concluded that Corey Martin threw the victim to the ground and squeezed her throat. Martin was taken into custody.

Bail was set at $50,000,
