COVID-19 CLAIMS NO MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL REMAINS AT 2,730, AS OF MONDAY

COVID-19 has claimed no more lives, with the state’s death toll remaining at 2,730, as of Monday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 127 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 205,154. The new cases include:

*30 in Multnomah County

*25 in Clackamas County

*13 in Linn County

*12 in Douglas County

*9 each in Deschutes and Harney counties

*5 each in Clatsop and Lane counties

*3 each in Josephine, Washington and Yamhill counties

*2 each in Columbia, Crook and Morrow counties

*1 each in Baker, Benton, Grant, and Union counties

The number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 174, which is 11 more than on Sunday. There are 46 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 7 more than on Sunday.

OHA reported that 11,430 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 7,793 new doses were administered on Sunday. 3,647 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Sunday.
