COVID-19 CLAIMS 1 MORE LIFE, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 2,730, AS OF SUNDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, raising the state’s death toll to 2,730, as of Sunday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 167 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 205,209. The new cases include:

*51 in Multnomah County

*25 each in Clackamas and in Washington counties

*14 in Marion County

*13 in Deschutes County

*9 in Linn County

*7 in Douglas County

*6 in Jackson County

*5 in Lane County

*4 each in Morrow and Polk counties

*3 each in Benton, Crook, Jefferson, Josephine, and Yamhill counties

*2 each in Baker, Harney and Klamath counties

*1 each in Columbia, Curry, Union and Wallowa counties

The new death is a 58-year old man from Multnomah County

OHA reported that 15,381 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 11,398 doses were administered on Saturday. 3,983 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Saturday.
