PORTLAND WOMAN JAILED AFTER ALLEGEDLY USING METHAMPHETAMINE BEFORE DRIVING

Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a Portland woman following a DUII incident on Thursday.

A DCSO report said at 1:35 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a possible hit and run driver in the 100 block of Peel Loop in Glide. The deputy encountered a woman who displayed signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance. 64-year old Lisa Baker allegedly admitted to using methamphetamine prior to driving. The woman reportedly could not complete field sobriety tests due to the level of her impairment

Baker was jailed on charges of driving under the influence/controlled substance, reckless driving and for second-degree criminal mischief. She was released from custody on Friday.
