A late afternoon rainstorm hit Roseburg during the afternoon commute on Wednesday, but didn’t produce a significant amount of precipitation.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service told News Radio 1240 KQEN that the Roseburg Regional Airport had .20 inches of rain between 4:00 a.m. Wednesday and 4:00 a.m. Thursday. Most of that fell in a short period of time starting just before 5:30 p.m.

The Rogue Valley had heavy rain late Wednesday afternoon as well, with some hail hitting Medford.
