A Myrtle Creek man was cited following a traffic crash in Roseburg on Wednesday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 6:00 p.m. a driver was waiting at a red light at the corner of Northeast Stephens and Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard when his vehicle was rear-ended. The report said the driver who caused the wreck had been distracted by his dog. His driving status was suspended and he did not have proof of insurance.

The man was cited for following too closely, driving while suspended-violation and for failure to carry proof of financial responsibility. Neither vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
